Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, welcomed to the Patriarchate Mr. Joachim Herrmann, The Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, for Sport and Integration in Munich, Germany and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, H.B. the Cardinal shared his reflections on the current circumstances and the situation of Christians in the Diocese of Jerusalem during these challenging times.

Ephraim is today known as Taybeh. In addition to being the only entirely Christian village in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza, it is also known for its beer.
